Description: Recalling the first time for a 1-on-1 discussion with my supervisor as a young engineer, there were a couple of things on my mind: a feeling of nervous anticipation for focused time with my supervisor and questioning what in the world we were going to talk about. Having been involved in thousands of these discussions over the years, I remain convinced that when well executed it is one of the best things a leader can do to support their team and deliver long-term results. There are countless resources available on the topic of why and how to have successful 1-on-1 discussions, and they include several common themes. These themes as well as tips and solutions to start or improve these meetings with associates will be covered in the webinar.

Shawn Brougham is VP of Product Engineering at Altec. He has held several positions in engineering, marketing and sales at Altec over the last 27 years. Altec is the premier provider of truck mounted products for electric utility, telecommunications, and tree care industries.
