Board of DirectorsDr. Paul Componation is a Professor and Department Chair at the University of Texas - Arlington Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering Department. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University, a MS in Management from Troy State University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University. His research interests include development and optimization of complex systems in aerospace, transportation, medical and energy; decision analysis in distributed engineering design teams; utilization of technical and qualitative data in parametric cost modeling for aerospace systems; adaption of value driven design in the systems engineering enterprise; use of lean principles as an agent for organizational transformation; development of hybrid and on-line education models for STEM education. Dr. Patricia Anzalone is the Engineering Management Program Director in the Industrial and Management Systems Engineering department at University of South Florida. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from University of South Florida, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic University (Unexpo) in Venezuela. Her research interests include engineering management, human factors, safety, and quality. Dr. Larry Mallak is a Professor of Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering and Engineering Management at Western Michigan University. He hold a Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focus has been on building and using innovative methods to improve organizational systems and design processes leading to better outcomes.
