Build Engineering Management into Your CurriculumMany program advisory boards are requesting that basic business and management materials be included in technical and engineering programs. Although this is typically not an issue in EM oriented programs, traditional engineering, technology, and computer science programs often have a challenge. To address this issue, ASEM developed a set of over 1,000 instructional PowerPoint slides that are available for purchase on the ASEM Store, supporting the use of the Engineering Management Body of Knowledge (EMBOK) in the classroom. This allows programs to initiate, with minimum preparation, a 1-3 credit course in Engineering Management. Several of these courses have been introduced by EM programs as “elective courses” for other engineering and technical disciplines on campus. Here are examples of ten of the 97 slides in Domain 4: | Please visit our sponsors: |
