Undergraduate and Graduate Student Scholarships

The American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) awards a $500 undergraduate scholarship and $500 graduate scholarship each academic year. The scholarships are awarded to students in engineering management (EM) and related fields, such as technology management.

Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible, at the time the application is submitted, applicants must:

• Be a current member of ASEM,
• Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program within the past year (minimum of 12 hours for undergraduate students or 9 hours for graduate students)
• On a 4.00 scale, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate students, and 3.5 for graduate students.
• Have completed a significant portion of their degree requirements and have an expected graduation date in 2027. This requirement must be confirmed in the support letter submitted by the faculty and will be confirmed with transcript.

From those applicants who meet the eligibility requirements above, one undergraduate recipient and one graduate recipient will be selected based on service to the campus and the community, career goals and aspirations as they relate to the Engineering Management profession, academic qualifications, and research interests and involvement (especially for graduate student applicants).

Applications for 2025-26 academic year are currently open. Application materials must be sent to scholarship@asem.org by July 15, 2026, 5:00 pm PT.

Scholarship Award Date

Applicants receiving scholarships will be notified in September.
