A Systems Approach to Engineering Management Solutions

Conference Information 

The ASEM 2019 International Annual Conference will be held at Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Thursday Oct. 24th 8:00 am to Saturday Oct. 26th 12:00 pm (noon) local time, with pre-conference workshop and tours on Wednesday Oct. 23rd starting at 9:00 am, a welcoming reception on Wednesday evening.


Technical presentations will be scheduled between Thursday 8:00 am through Saturday 12:00 pm. Please plan your trip accordingly.

In addition to entrance to exciting workshops, keynotes, special and regular presentation sessions, registration for this event also includes:

    • Light hors d'oeuvres for the Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening;
    • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for Thursday and Friday evening special awards dinner; and

THE HOST: DREXEL UNIVERSITY

Founded in 1891 during the industrial revolution, Drexel University emphasizes engineering, the sciences, and technology, and the school focuses on preparing students for a rapidly changing technological society. Since its founding, Drexel’s College of Engineering has grown into the largest private engineering college in the nation, with over 3900 undergraduate students. Drexel was the first university to award a graduate degree in Engineering Management (1959), and one of the first universities to allow Engineering Management students to complete their degree entirely online (2001). Drexel’s Engineering Management Program continues to maintain close ties to industry, and the program has been highly regarded in the Philadelphia engineering community for almost 60 years.


Registration Cancellation Policy

Due to commitments made by the society to IAC vendors and sponsors, refunds will be issued by the guidelines below:
- Prior to 60 days - 100% (before August 24)
- 60-30 days - 50% (between August 25 & September 22)
- Within 30 days - no refunds possible (after September 22)

Presenting Author Registration

To sustain the ASEM IAC's reputation as a high-quality event, we require that the presenting author register for the conference by August 23, 2019.  The presenting author does not need to be the first author or the corresponding author. When you register, please make sure that you enter your abstract number (from the Ex Ordo system) when prompted in the registration form to ensure that your abstract will be scheduled for presentation.
