Engineering Manager Professional Certification (EMPC)

Background

ASEM recognizes the need of engineers and other technical professionals to develop and validate their skills in technical management as they progress through their careers. To that end, ASEM has created two levels of professional certification: Associate Engineering Manager (AEMTM) and Professional Engineering Manager (PEMTM). ASEM has established requirements to become certified at the ASEM certification levels of AEMTM or PEMTM. Conditions for recertification have also been established. Information on initial certification and recertification can be found in the the Engineering Manager Professional Certification Handbook.
